The East:
Graciella welcomes you today and suggests you sit in the energy of the morning light as you quest on your journey. Sitting quietly under the jeweled sun's rays bring us facets of understanding and clarity that we may not otherwise access. The East card tells us the story of reflection and of how we receive illuminating information to the questions we bring to our relationship with ourselves and in the world. The world may encompass friends, family, a larger social community, and one in which we bring our work service. The world may include a child who lives on another continent and who in some shape or form is in mutual process with how we live our lives on this land. When we sit in meditation frequently, we become increasingly level, and we are not catapulted into shock and anxiety when what could be startling news comes our way. The reasons we tell ourselves that we don't have time to meditate are often true enough. Is there never a morning that five minutes of quiet solitude can be experienced? Your meditation may be to review your morning later in the day to determine which five minutes of your morning could have been used in meditation. Was it the five minutes you used to check the latest social media posts? Was it the five minutes that you used to debate a meaningless situation with your partner? Could you have had the discussion in the evening? Would the debate still be just as important? You may have realized that it wasn't worthy of your time at all by the time you revisited it later in the day. There are many reasons that become excuses. Our interactions during these times are paramount to our transformations both on a small scale and evolutionary ones. Graciella encourages you to take part in your existence and your progressions during this and coming lifetimes.
