Graciella reminds us that we take, we take, and we take. She encourages us to look around ourselves and within ourselves and ask about what we may have taken for granted. If we are in balance with the Earth, we are in balance with ourselves because we are the Earth.
The idea that we are separate from our environments is erroneous. When we hurt the energy that we are part of we hurt too. There is no separation between us and our neighbor or between us and the air that we breathe.
Many of us have forgotten that we are all one. We have forgotten that to take care of another is to care for ourselves. When I share love and kindness with the individual that I have chosen to share space with, whether purposely or seemingly by coincidence, we are both affected. This is the mutual process of life.
Take note this week on how easily we forget that we are accountable for what is happening on our planet and within our homes. We cannot lay blame or remain angry at others for too long. Those feelings impact us in a manner that is non-sustainable.
When you extend a prayer for another, say a prayer for yourself. When you water a plant, take a drink of water for yourself. Even the most minute actions change the Earth on which we live for the better. For it and for us. You and me.
With love and gratitude,
Graciella and Theresa
