Treachery:

I haven't drawn a Graciella card for this blog in a while. When I did today, I pulled the Treachery card and groaned. So, I'll admit that I shuffled the deck and pulled another card. Yes, indeedy, it was the Treachery card again. I'm not as smart as I look or maybe Graciella is smarter! Graciella as always wants to extend her kindness and compassion to all who are reading this post. She is encouraging us not to bring treachery to our own lives. That, yes, others may be treacherous, and we are wise to stay clear; however, here she is less concerned with them and more so with us. She asks that we ensure that our lights are shining. Have we given up on ourselves in a personal sense or in the larger sense of how we interact in the world? Do we negate our needs, or do we stand tall and walk forward when our names are called? Or better yet, do we call our names out when there is something we sense is good for us? She urges us to nurture our essences as we would a flower in our gardens. We must make the time to nurture ourselves. We love outwardly and we are encouraged to love inwardly too.
